The 2-year edition of the International Masters program in Communication Networks Engineering (IMCNE) is structured in traditional front lectures and in laboratory sessions and the program is divided in 4 semesters. The applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications.

The International Master on Communication Networks Engineering program is focused on the provisioning of competence across Telecommunications Engineering and Computer Science, taking into account tecno-economic aspects and services supported by the networks. In the first semester the students will build solid grounds in basic disciplines of information engineering. In the second and third semester they will acquire strong competence in the area of: software for telecommunication, design of wired and wireless networks, network architectures and tecno-economic aspects, network components. In the last semester, they will develop and original Master thesis in Scuola Sant’Anna Laboratories. At the end of the Master program they will be able to design, plan and manage complex telecommunication infrastructures with heterogeneous network segments both from the hardware and software point of view.

Destinatari
Applicants must have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Physics or any other equivalent title in the disciplines relating to the Information and Communication Technologies. Students who are enrolled in a three-year university program and expect to gain such qualifications within June are also eligible.
The candidates should have a good knowledge of the English language, proved by a proficiency certificate (TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge or other forms of statement).

Contenuti
The course is structured in 4 six-month periods. First 3 periods include traditional front lectures and laboratory sessions carried out in the Institute of Communication, Information and Perception Technologies (TeCIP). Last period consists in a thesis worked out in the laboratories of CEIICP.
Each period, which is subdivided in a few didactics modules, confers 30 ECTS, for a total amount of 120 ECTS.
In order to get the Master diploma students have to attend at least 80% of classes, to pass the test provided for each didactic module and to discuss successfully the final Master thesis.

  • lecture attendance
  • educational materials
  • tutorship during Masters Thesis preparation
  • health and accident insurance for the period of the Masters
All over expenses including travel, accommodation, and meals are at to be borne by the students of any nationality. Borse di studio e finanziamenti The first three applicants in the admission list will benefit from a tuition waiver for the first A.Y.. Applicants ranked between the 4th and the 6th position will benefit from a tuition fee reduction of 1.500,00 Euro for the first A.Y.. For the second academic year, 3 tuition waivers and 3 tuition fee reductions will be assigned according to the academic performance of the participants TeCIP Institute makes available 3 lodging grants equivalent to Euro 4.320,00 Lodging grants will be assigned according to the final ranking list order to applicants who have obtained a score of at least 90/100 For the second academic year, 3 lodging grants will be assigned to the Masters participants with the best academic performance.
