This Masters Program in Intellectual Property Law is offered jointly with the WIPO Academy, the Denis Ekani Training Center of the African Intellectual Property Organization and the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences, University of Yaoundé II (UY II), with financial assistance from the Government of Japan. The program is structured in three parts stretching over nine months, from October to June:

Part three (June): | Examination and defense of dissertation in Yaoundé. |
Destinatari
The program is open to teachers, IP practitioners or employees of research and development institutions wishing to acquire a certain level of expertise in IP law at the national and international level. Applicants must hold at least a Master’s Degree in law, economics, sciences or an engineering diploma issued by a recognized university. They must be able to take classes in French.
After obtaining the diploma, the alumni must return to their respective institutions as trainers or experts in IP law.

Upon satisfactory completion of the program, participants will be awarded a diploma of Masters II in IP law by the University of Yaoundé II on behalf of WIPO and OAPI.

Borse di studio e finanziamenti In order to contribute to the development of human resources relating to IP in developing countries and least developed countries, 20 scholarships are provided by WIPO for the best applicants from the French-speaking African region. Each scholarship covers enrolment costs, air transport and living expenses in Yaoundé. Ten places are also available for non-grant holders who indicate, in the enrolment file, their ability to cover their own expenses. Teachers, IP practitioners, those who aspire to teach IP in universities or in any other higher education institution, and employees of research and development institutions may obtain a scholarship. Exceptions may be made for applicants of sufficient merit from national administrations.
