L’International Master in Industrial Management, IMIM, è un Master specialistico Full Time nato con l’intento di sviluppare managers in grado di cogliere la sfida dell’innovazione e dell’internazionalizzazione di imprese industriali e di servizi.
L’International Master in Industrial Management si contraddistingue per la sua offerta formativa basata sull’esperienza in realtà nazionali europee ben differenziate tra loro: il programma del Master è il risultato della collaborazione tra UPM Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spagna, MIP Politecnico di Milano e Heriot-Watt University, Regno Unito.
Obiettivi
L’obiettivo del master è di permette agli allievi di acquisire le conoscenze e sviluppare le competenze manageriali utili a intraprendere una carriera internazionale in aziende manifatturiere e di servizi.
I semetri didattici saranno suddivisi tra le diverse Business School partner. Dopo il primo semestre trascorso in Spagna, a Madrid, e il secondo trascorso in Italia, a Milano, per il terzo semestre gli allievi potranno scegliere di frequentare le lezioni di specializzazione nell’Università partner di propria preferenza. Il quarto semestre sarà interamente dedicato allo svolgimento della Master Thesis.

Durata L’ International Master in Industrial Management ha la durata di 2 anni ed è interamente erogato in lingua inglese. Sedi MIP Como (Italy), Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain), Heriot-Watt Univeristy (Scotland), 4th location of study takes place in a University specialised in a particular field or situated in a specific geographical location. Education is performed in a highly internationalised environment with the possibility to spend the 4 semesters of the course in up to 4 different countries - 3 in Europe and the 4th anywhere around the world. The student experience is highly international and goes beyond the classroom. Students come from up to 22 nations and participate in language courses, seminars with local managers and company visits in the host country. Emphasis on topics of great relevance for technical university graduates, such as operations and supply chain management. Overview of general management and its application in an industrial context, such as marketing, accounting etc. Integrative teaching approach aimed at developing the ability of students to tackle managerial issues in an interdisciplinary manner. Industry-related project work in close collaboration with industrial and service companies, forming the basis for a master thesis.
