The II Level Specializing Master in E-business and ICT for Management organised by the Politecnico di Torino is a high level educational opportunity conceived for newly graduated students and professional figures who wish to obtain business objectives using information and communication technologies (ICT) as a strategic lever.
The Specializing Master is structured according to the new university regulations that allow a university qualification, coherent with the university credit system (ECTS) in force in all European Union countries, to be obtained.

The educational course, coherent with the tradition of excellency of the Politecnico di Torino, has the objective of preparing professional figures who are able to set up, manage and evaluate e-government, and e-business projects, from both the technological and economic-managerial points of view. The experience gained and the results obtained are proved by the rapidity and quality of the post-master placements and by the evaluations that appear in specialisation publications.

In order to be admitted into the second level Specializing Master program, applicants must possess a 5-year (10 semesters) university degree.
The II Level Specializing Master in e-Business and ICT for Management is addressed to graduate students in:

  • Technical-scientific disciplines (Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Information Sciences, etc.)
  • Economic and legal disciplines (Economy, Communication Sciences, Political Sciences, etc.)
  • Graduates from other fields with working experience in the themes dealt with in the Master course.

Participants must have knowledge of English.
Candidates with degrees, or equivalent, in other subjects and final year students graduating before 31 August, can be admitted to the Specializing Master after an evaluation of their applications. Working experience in the field will be considered, but is not a requirement for admission to the course.
The Specializing Master is also open to those already working. Professional figures and executives operating in the world of Information Technology can take part in individual Specializing Master sessions to study some themes in depth that are useful for their personal education.
Specializing master students are under the obligation to attend the specializing master program throughout the established one-year period and to acquire the related credits. A specializing master student cannot be enrolled in any other university program.

As explained in the section on education courses, there are two types of courses, economic and technological, and the relative credits are attributed to each of these course. A credit corresponds to 10 hours of lessons in the classroom and to 15 of guided practical lessons, to which about another 15 hours of study is added for the comprehension and preparation of the examination.
